I finally downloaded and tried FTP tonight and got shafted! 2hrs into a tourney and I am a little below average stack with about 4/5 the field gone and bubble approaching.
I raise AKs and get one caller with about 3/4 my stack. I've only been at the table a short while but I've already seen the guy flat call a pre-flop raise with AQ and AJ.
Flop is 468 and he shoves. Figuring him for the same old shit, I call and he duly shows A9. River is a 9.
Break is up next and I have about 2.5BB with BB next. BB hand is AQs, folds to SB who raises my stack with QT. River is a T.
I really hate that when you get two silly beats in a row to get dumped out of a tourney. One silly beat I can handle but two in a row is just ghey.
Despite this, the levels at FTP are very generous even though this tourney had 10min blinds which is kinda short. Nevertheless with I think four levels before 100/200 and a 120/240 level, it's unlike any other poker room I have played.
