I find myself in this situation many times and tend to overbet and probably lose out on extra money because they fold. I like suited connectors like QJ and will usually play them regardless of position.
How big a raise should I go? I think he's on a straight draw or two pair.

I wouldn't be surprised if he flipped a better flush here as played.
HOWEVER, disregarding that scenario..
Smooth call here imho, if he does NOT have the better flush there are not many ways he can improve to beat you with the exception of landing a FH on the river. Wait for him to fire another barrel and come over the top on the river if a non-club card falls. Hope he doesn't flip AcXc. Ideally he is holding a set here and will be unable to get away after commiting himself w/ another bet on the river.
What I find interesting here is that holding a hand like 33 he will not want to give you a free card to catch your flush, making it less likely that he holds an inferior hand. He may have checked the action to induce betting and flubbed that portion a bit, which sometimes will happen as well.
I'm very curious to see what some of the more experienced members of the forum have to say about this one, as I am no expert at NL25.
