Was playing at a local tavern and saw this hand played
flop
6-7-10 all clubs
I folded preflop with some junk hand and after the flop there's some decent action. Turn comes 9 of clubs and there's some more action (some obvious flushes, possible straight flush with the 8 of clubs). River comes...BAM 8 of clubs for the board reading
6-7-8-9-10 of clubs, a 5-card straight flush on the board!
With the Ace high flush now obviously worthless and most likely the pot being a 3-way split there's some raising and then everyone calls.
One guy shows K clubs and a blank--had the K high flush but is now playing the board
Another shows A-2 of clubs for the nut flush on the flop but now playing the board
Last guy turns over not only the J of clubs but the 5 of clubs giving him the 7 card straight flush
5-6-7-8-9-10-J !!
Takes the pot and rivered everyone. Amazing, especially considering his odds were less than *HALF* a percent after the flop and still only like 2.5% to the Ace high flush after the turn!

I saw some dude flop a str8 flush last night. Lucky for him, he slow played and someone caught a boat. Unlucky for me, my top trips w/ the A didnt hold up, I fold after 2 bets came to me on the river. I put someone on the flush, but not one w/ a boat and another w/ the str8 flush!
