Im planning on going to Atlantic City on July 1st for the weekend. Anyone know the best places to play poker there? Or what else to do there? Ive never been before and im driving down with a couple of buddies for some drinking, gambling and womanizing.

I always play at the Taj mahal when I goto Atlantic City. I really never tried any other place in Atlantic City because my wife only plays at the Showboat so I stay close to her. I do plan on playing at a Sunday Tournament at the Tropicanna sometime in June. I might drop by the Trop on Friday if I go to AC this weekend.

I've only played at the Trop in AC. It's a nice poker room, but if you're looking for the best room, I've been told the Taj is the place to be. I personally liked the Trop because I could bet on the ponies in the same room.

My buddies and I mostly play at the Trop also. Thats just where we have built up our comps so now its hard to switch. But we love the Borgata and their poker room. Its beautiful. Plus the crowd in the whole place is much younger compared to the Trop and many good looking people. So that s always a benefit. So we are in the slow process of building our comps up there.
Hopefully soon the Borgata will be our place to play.

The Borgata has the nicest room, and it's the biggest aquarium on the island. Personally, I like playing at Bally's. Similar to the Trop, you can bet the horses in the same room.

One of these days i will shot down to AC.
last time i was there i was way to young to gamble
and i would love to check out there night life probaly alot better then Good old South Eastern CT.

I was there for my first time just a few days ago. I just missed a tourney so I played at 2-4 table. It's a nice poker and I had a good time. I only won $6.00 but that paid for my parking.

The taj,borgota, and the trop are your best bets.Annd hey im not even old enought to play in a casino 
Also heard the Sand might not be too bad.Let us know how you do
