I noticed that more and more poker sites have monthly races for FPPs and raked hands. Last year I participated in one of these races and won 1000$ at a hands race. This year, in january, i played in another race and finished +1500$ even if I lost around 1000$ at the tables.
Now my question is, what is your opinion about these races? Do you think the money worths the effort? (I've been playing like a maniac those months  ) Anyone else participated in this kind of races?
