I was playing in this pokerroom on the net
I am almost broke on my bankroll so I deceided to play agressive, but with reaon. Reasing the big hands, limping occasionaly and showing the big limpers.
Now, at 1 point, a player kept callin g me a fish and started an arguement. He wasnt fed up with my constant raising the flop style (when I had the hands most of the time)
Another player agreed with him. I mean, common, so poker is just, limping the flop and hope for the best???
I asked him if he liked getting his ass beat by the smal hands who got lucky
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

IMHO the preflop play is very important. Playing aggressive or passive... its your choice.
I always try to avoid arguments. I recommend you to do the same thing... people like that guy who called you "fish" are fishes themselfs... a pro never respondes to such frustrated players and focuses on the game
