Fairly early in the night, third blind level (every 20 mins) i think so about 40ish mins in.
Starting stack - 2000
Blinds at 100/200
My stack is 3000 and change (been playing fairly tight)Villian's stack is about 2600
only read on villian is he's a bit noob, slightly large range PF in the hands he's showndown, not really made any moves (showed his hands if people lay it down to him to him etc, might have even mentioned it was his first live tourney)
Im in seat 5 and the button is on 9. Folded round to me with   i raise it up to 500, button calls, blinds folds.
Flop comes   
i open for 800, button ista shoves happily
am i pot committed here with about 1600 behind, and 3800 in the middle? My thoughts were im getting 2.5 ish on my money and im a little scuppered with the blinds going up to 200/400 by the time they come round to me. But if i call im a 10 - 1 underdog to any ace, and ive represented strength if not through a lightly obvious c-bet.

with 15BB you open shove or fold PF.
There is no way mid pair play profitably post flop even if you do get position so shallow.
As played Noob will never turn a hand you beat into a bluff here.
I probably c/f here a lot against a noob.
