Never played a live sat before, went to buy directly in the yearly 300$ tourney they have in a casino about a hour from were I live and I saw a sat about to start. Figured what the hell save myself 300$ for a 30$ sat with 82 people.
Start with 2000 in chips blinds start at 25/50 and go up every 20 minutes. Kind a turbo but whatever for a sat. Gets to the blind lvl of 200/400 and I got about 1800 BLAH.
Im in the cutoff and dude beforem e min raises to 800 and I got 66. Well obvious reasons I just ship it in he calls with 1010. Guy in the big blind says " sry to say i tossed a 6" thinking f-ing hell, DOINK on the turn plops my 6 im still in the game.
Gets down 2 tables after about 2 hours and everyone is playing snug as a bug cause it pays 7. Everyone has about 11k and blinds are 1k/2k. Lady UTG ships it in for 5k and other lady calls with only 500 and im in the BB with 77. Said whatever another 3k I call A2 V QJ v my 77 and I win the wholes deal luckly. get my seat about 30 min later.
This 300$ is a great structure, starting with 15k in chips with blinds every 30 minutes. Its a very slow climb in blinds so it will be great. Hopefully i dont donk it up this sunday.
