Hi
You know most people usually reraised with AK suitted.
Ex. someone raise a usual 3/4 time BB, then the one with AK suited will reraised another 3/4 times of the raise.
I am not saying that it is not good or anything. I just want to know how to play AK wisely. What happen if the original raiser, re-raise you, or just call you. And you miss on the flop. Suicide?
Your help would be appreciated.

AK suited is a hand you can play really agressively , especially low stakes where people stack off lighter.
Since you're only in trouble vs AA or KK, you should play it fast imo. If short chipped its a hand you should have no problem moving or reshoving with.
I'd say AK suited is a hand you should look to re raise most of the time , with exceptions of course. I tend to play AK pretty slow the first hour or 2 of a tournament.
Sitautions you want to lay big slick down- when you have a very playable stack , and its gone raise and re raise in front of you and the re raiser hasn't been doing moves.
If you are a big stack and clashing vs a big stack who shoves on you ... normally wise to lay the AK.
Regarding situations when you miss,if i flat preflop, depending on board texture , I might call a flop bet a fair amount of the time since players c bet alot with hands they open, which i beat, ala Ax,KQ etc,however ,word of caution.If he fires 4th street, give it up. Don't get married to AK. A flop bet, is usually the most I ll call if i whiff, hoping to freeze the action.
My response isn't anything genius mate, and like any poker question, "it depends", mostly what stakes, and typical opponent at that stakes.
low stakes cash players are pretty nitty getting it all in pre, higher stakes people make some moves so AK you could argue is worthy of calling shoves in cash.
So yeh, I ll be a dick now and conclude "it depends".

That is similiar to how i normally play my AK suited. My only concern is, it kinda cost a lot when u call the reraise and the c flop bet.
Thats the reason why I ask. I was hoping someone can give me some more insight on how to play that in a way that are more cost effective.

This may sound like I'm being pedantic, but it's refreshing to learn about the thought-process behind the options for a good selection of eventualities covering one hand.
There's nothing wrong one word answers, I just don't learn from them as quick as I do with long detailed explinations.

I fully agree with this but find it a massive time trap. Apart from hand analysis most posts could be answered with a good 500 words because in poker it always depends on a lot of factors.
Some people ask questions like they want A to B directions, but we know it’s more like A to Z and we have to explain what to do about every letter in between if they encounter it.
In short I’m too lazy to write helpful replies these days

I totally agree that most of us are too busy to write indepth answers for every scenario and in all fairness, know most don't need an indepth discusion.
However recently I've see a lot of 1,2 or 3 word answers which 99% of the time (imo) is no real use to anyone.
I also appreciate there are other factors in play as well. Some of the questions are donk'ish, some are not asking any specific question and others may a first timers post which regulars may be slightly apprehensive about replying too, just in case they never bother contributing to the site again.
Don't get me wrong, I don't have a massive issue with one word replies, I think ciso's post just made me realize the amount of help some players are willing to go too, to help others.

you fool, poker gods dont help u for helping others. they will reward u if you give up the struggle and start shoving every hand then u can win a few showdowns. If you try to play seriously they will toy with you
