Like the fool I am, I decided to deposit a bit on ftp. I played some pot limit hold em , made like $60 playin pl50.
Also, entered this $24 mtt, 820 runners, 1st is like $4,500...
Just busted a lovely 26th, its so incredibly frustating, playing against players you know are worse than you and yet they beat you.
I had a really good stack over average from 100 on down, and wasreally dominating the tables I was at.
This 1 guy really annoyed me, he was so bad but just kept getting lucky.
2 scenarios, I have JJ in the bb , he limps button (already bad really but eh), he limped for 3k, I make it 11,000 from teh bb, he has a good stack too like 140k I have like 101k , he calls, i donk lead 13,500 on Q105, he calls,turn 7 putting runner fd possible, I check , he bets like 40k, and i kinda have to fold vs this opponent, he played AK really soft against me earlier so for him to bet here screams strength.
Moving on, now i have like 78k or something and he limps from mp ish , I make it 11,300 with AQ ,he calls, Flop a lovely As 3s 10h, He checks , I bet 17800 into 30k, he calls, turn Jc. Pot is now pretty big , I have 47k behind i think , and if im beat here, im beat, nothin to do but charge him to beat me. All in,
he has KJ...river J.
That $4.5k would have been a nice boost financialy and confidence wise. Oh yeh , ftp obviously loves me too still. I have $520 on there, lets see how long that lasts.
