This hand , I was up against someone wiht like half a buy in behind, and I was going for c/c or c/r on turn, didn't work, then for some reason i fold river, when logically why would a set check back turn? I even thought this @ the time too, but made what I think is likely to be a terrible fold. But i dunno,I guess he might think i had nothing and checked back turn to induce on river.(I had been v laggy this session)

I dont mind my flat pre here, but he only had $27 behind on turn i think, so I really gots to tap him on turn if Im going with this right? I actually figured for him for just ace hi on river, and took a while before shoving, hoping he could find a stubborn call. I'm thinking there's better ways to play this overall.

I read the guy exactly for overpair here, based on the fact he raised over us, and c bet this flop like pot bet, with that in mind, I like the fold on flop, but I'm thinking overlimping that short stacker is bad right. I gotta iso the weak limp with 88 in position imo. Limp/callign then folding on flop seems weak, evne tho being results orientated, I made a really good fold

Cooler for villain here, but I thought even when i lead on turn, that maybe im meant to check turn here.I'm lucky he has AA here cos surely the bet/call lead turn line won't get much action? I dunno, maybe its not bad. I wanted to protect somehat vs the weird runner runner while also appear i might fold to re raise.
