Playing a friendly game, but we agreed to play serious. I don't know vegas rules, but Ante was 1$ and Max was 5$ we're 17-18 year old summer job kids, so this is big money to us. We started off with 5 people, I took out the one who seeemed the strongest player out of us. The other two were easy. We upped the max at this point to no limit cause we all had work the next day.
Final hand 4am..preflop i get 4h 4s. I bet 5$. the flop is 4c 2c Kc. I'm feeling happy right now, but there is the chance he's got that flush, but i come out strong faking as if i have it. So i bet 30$, but he comes back and raises me $10. so now im' thinknig he has it. the turn drops a 10c. We both throw in 10$. The river drops a Js. I went all in. he had the full house 4d and 2d.
what are the chances?? how would you have handled this

Unless you're not relaying the hand as it happened, you won it with three of a kind... He only had two pair, not a full house.
In any case, you did the right thing coming out strong on the flop... If he had a club, you need to make him pay to see another card (called adjusting the pot odds in your favor)
After the fourth club came, you were already pot commited anyways... Heads up, I'd have played it the same way as you.

I know it was a friendly game, but if u bet $30, surely he would have to re-raise a minimum of an additional $30 (so $60 min. for him to raise u). If this had been the case, u might have stolen the pot as he may have doubted his hand for $60!
And yeah, make sure u know if he had 2 pair cos if he did, he's stolen ur money and u need to have words cos ur 3-of-a-kind wins!!
