I was playing at the 5/10 table at the casino last night. I get jack 10 suited. It raises preflop after i had already called. Im up and can afford it so I call the raise. So do 3 others. Flop comes Jh,6s,10c. I bet. Someone reraises. 2 folds and one guy that calls. I reraise again. Other guy caps it and third guy calls. Turn 6c. I bet 10. Guy reraises me again to 20. Third guy calls and i just call. River Kc. I check. checks all around. First guy flips over A,J for top pair and top kicker. I flip over top two pair. And the guy who played through a preflop raise. Capped on the flop and reraised on the turn had 5,3 of clubs for the flush. Unbelievable.
Another hand. I have Kh,4h suited in small blind. I figure whats another 2.50 so i call. Flop comes 9h,5h,3h. I bet but am slightly worried someone is holding the ace. 3 callers. turn Ah I bet. am reraises. I reraise. Its not heads up. The guy had about 100 bucks left in his stack and it reraised till he was all in. He flips over A,9 for 2 pair. I flip over the nut flush and the river comes and A for the full house. This retard kept reraising me on two pair while 4 hearts were on the board. Then hits his house on the river. I was not happy with that hand. I went for a walk and a smoke to calm down.
I have K,Q. Flop comes Q,Q,5. Lots of betting. turn 5. heads up. Lots more betteing and reraising. River 5. He bets I call. I flip over the high full house. He flips over the 5 for quads. I had him up untill the 3 fives showed up in a row.
Needless to say It was not a profitable night. However its not that bad because I went to the casino to sign up for that big tournament and only brought 30 more dollars with me. I went to roulette and doubled it then Paigow and brought it up to 200 so really I only played poker with 30 bucks of my money.

That is a rough session, I'm in a bit of a slump lately as well, having lost $480 the past week playing 6/12 and 3/6 at my local home game. Have played solidly according to other players there (Good friends who would not BS me), just have run into better hands every time. It sucks when you play well and get crushed repeatedly. I view all slumps as testing periods, just got to stick with it though and continue to play smart 8)
