I want to get a subscription but is it really worth the 79.99US (im canadian). Ive never read the magazine. Is it worth it? Ive tried to find a copy at chapters but couldnt seem to find it. They have a million magazines on everything else but poker.

wow, just wow. I came on here to post the exact same question. Except that I just bought a subscription and I want to know if what I just bought is worth it.

$80 subscription you say.
I'd be more inclined to go to my local large book store chain, sit in the cushy chairs and read the mag for free while sipping a coffee.

i couldnt find it. Ill ask next time if they carry it. If they do I will just buy it every month. Thats probably cheaper than the subscription anyway.

Truth be told. What they charge for coffee at those places will likely be about as much as the magazine is to buy.

Never have been able to find this mag at either of the two big "B"s.
I just got a sub to "All in" Magazine. Much cheaper, we'll see if it is worth it. I'll probably break down and pay the $40 (US) to get the sub for Card Player. I love the articles by D Negreanu that you can find on his web site, so I'm guessing the rest of the mag is decent.

Just went to there site and they have it now at a reduced price only 40 bones for 25 issues!  that might actually be worth the price :D

just ordered a year sub. 40$ is more of a price range for me, but 80 was pretty steep. Better send you a book a month for that price

you could make a little extra dough. Just take like 20 of em from the casino. And charge us half the subscription costs. And then mail them to us :D

its 80 for us canadians. Does it really cost an extra 40 bucks a year to mail 12 magazines to ontario. I doubt it. In canadian dollars that = my first born child.

no, we still use the barter system. It works well for us and keeps us from taking over other countries.
