I was at a small games this weekend. It was tourament style with only 7 people at $50 a person. Anyway, I was with my brother and a friend that I regularly play with and I know they know what they are doing.
The other 4 were new players and I really thought they would be easy (and they should have been).
They two to my right were out fairly quicky, like I assumed, but the 2 across wfrom me would be/raise enver hand no matter what cards they had. One was drunk and didn't care but the other was definatly trying to buy every pot. He was winning left and right because everyone would fold. The worse thing was, I was getting cards like 2-4o every hand so there was nothing I could do about it.
I know he was betting with garbage because they few times he was called, he had nothing. Finally, I got pocket Jacks and went all in, and he had pocket Aces! First real good cards I've seen him with!
Damn the poker gods that night!
This Saturday I've got a tourament with 30+ people. I expect to win that one!

I know what thats like. Some guys i play with who are really bad frustrate the hell out of me. Then last week a couple of them decided to bring there girlfriends and teach them how to play. They would call anything. It was an unbluffable game. I was so frustrated. Pocket Ks goes all in, i fold. THREE CALLERS!! A,7 offsuit. 9,10 offsuit and this ones the best 9,3 suited. Flop comes 8,Q,J giving 9,10 the straight off the flop and he takes it. Guy with kings was a good player too. Needless to say I did not win that night because I didnt get good cards and i got called everytime I tried to bluff at a pot.
