I hate hands like this!

Playing 6/12 at a local casino friday night, had just sat down a few hands earlier and and the big blind was on me.. I get Deatl 58o.. complete garbage but there was no preflop raises so i got to see a flop for free.

The flop brought Q58

Great 2 pair, but my hand is vulnerable so when another player bets, i raise to 12, everyone else folds, he makes it 18, I think for a minute that he could have 2 pair as well but put him on Queens with a decent kicker, So I cap the pot at 24.

The turn brought another 5 giving me my full house.
He bets, I raise, he calls.

The river.. Queen.

So with the board Q585Q

He bets, im 99% sure im beat but call anyway because i wanna see what he 3 bet me with on the flop.

His Queens full of 5s beats my 5s full of 8s..

Luckily my night didnt stay like that.. but it wasnt exactly how i pictured beginning my night heh.

That sucks. Thats the problem with limit because in No limit that would have been your pot.

not that it makes a difference but just a little correction you had 5's full of queens not 8's.
