Final two players in NL tourney |
|

I frequently play in 5-10 player low-buy in tournaments. Against this competition, I end up being one of the final two players about half the time but very rarely win, regardless of who has the chip lead.
I think I start out too cautious and keep losing blinds. I finally lose my patience and bet too much. This is especially frustrating because I've become patient elsewhere.
I haven't found a site that gives odds or rankings of hands in this head to head format. Any help? Either sites or written strategies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You gotta learn heads up play and learn it well. It's really not something u should avoid learning either cos u'll never consistently win without it. It's a world apart from normal play........

Just understanding the odds in a real short handed game, like 2 or 3 of anyone else having an ace has really helped my game.
Finding a chart like that will help you too no doubt. I found the one in the back of Doyles book.
