Got one for anybody....In a showdown the best five cards win. Wehter on the board or a combo of board and hand. This i understand. What if the best kicker in a two pair is the eight on the board and also an eight in one of the players hand? Do the two players with the same two pair split or does it go to the player with the eight kicker in her hand?

hey mods correct me if i'm wrong, but if you both have 2 pair, unless you have an identical 2 pair..the higher pair wins, the kicker can only be played from the hand i thought, because the community is open to all, therefore your in teh same situtatin, sed opponent can just claim the same card as you?

Hey conlanx,
Only way I can see this happening is like this:
P1 has 2,3
P2 has 4,8
board is K,K,Q,Q,8
In the above case, then the players would split as the high 5 cards are KKQQ8 (regardless of in hand or on board).
If the two pair are different, then it goes to the higher two pair.
