I'm in a real loose game in late positon with ATo. Only 2 people fold pre flop. flop comes 4d, Kd, 5s. It checks all the way around and Ah comes on the turn. Someone in early position bets, and four others call. 2 thoughts go through my head. The first is that with so many callers, someone is bound to have me beat. Maybe someone has trips or a straight, but I doubt it because they didn't raise, but they could have 2 pair or a better A then me. But then I think about how big the pot is. Its possible that 3 are drawing, and 2 have aces with rag kickers. So I call. Another rag. Same thing happens, and I call again. Turns out one of the callers had a Jordan, and hit her straight on the turn. I kick myself cause I should have known I was beaten. But then again, if I folded and someone ended up walking with A7, I would have kicked myself just as hard. Should I have folded?

ok i am sorry i can't help because what u said sorta confused me. what's a jordan??? how did she have a straight on the turn?. i mean u said a 4d, Kd, 5s,Ah was on the board. i can't see a straight there besides 2,3 as whole cards. now i guess thats wat she had but why is it a jordan??? what is a jordan. also i don't think u should have folded. b/c no one raised and with a pair of aces and a ten kicker thats not terrible. its hard to say in that situation b/c no one really raised. if it was in real life then u really should have payed attention to facial expressions. and the pot was big so u had to go for it.

Sorry, Michael Jordan wore #23, so my friends and I call 23 a Jordan. Although we probably shouldn't, since it is kind of an insult to name such a crappy hand after him.
