When playing tournament style and the clock is up for the next blind limit after the small and big blind have posted their blinds but before the cards are dealt, do you tell the small and big blind the blinds are up, or do you wait for the next deal? How about if the small blind has posted his blind but the big blind hasn't put his chips up yet? Wondering how its done in the casinos and in the WSOP.

I believe the official rule is ( i may be wrong though) that oncee the cards are being shuffled then the hand has started. If the timer comes up then the blinds go up on the next hand.

if the table's been playing slowly, you might want to stop the clock until the next hand, so you don't eat 5 minutes of the next level.
