real games are a lot of fun. however i'll give you some advice. because of the age and it's only 10 bucks, kids are going to make wild and crazy plays. we all see amazing plays on tv but that's because they have something invested in their moves. playing kids, (cuz i'm still a kid) u gotta sit and wait it out. for instance don't make a lot of plays before flop guys like to come over the top with crap in these games and sometimes get lucky draws. just play nice and slow and methodical it's also only 10 bucks so don't get nervous have uhum a drink uhum. and just chill everyone eventually gets some kind of cards u just have to be patient to get them.

NL tourny was so much fun, 14 kids 10 bucks a head.. 2 tables..10grand in chips..we played for about 6 hours..small blind 100 big blind 200, and it doubled every 15 minutes...

i started off very smart, up 10 grand Smile
however i got 2 very bad beats that set me back huge..but the worst was this

very tight playing kid in the corner and myself are at the show down here's the detail

ME PREFLOP Ad 2d

HIM 8 2o

blind is 800 at this point..i have 2000 dollars left..so i work him a bit..and the flop comes

2 4 9o

no action he checks..okay whatever.. i put in 1000..he sees it
turn: 2 4 9 J rainbow

okay no flush no straight possiblity, he checks again..i check with him

BAM i hit my 3rd 2..he goes all in..i'm like well...he hit his 2..but i have it to the ace..so he can't win..so i see him going al in myself...he hit the boat 2s and 9Js on the turn and river.very bad beat i think, i did all i could to keep him out of the hand but whatever..live and learn i i finished 10 out of 14, but hey its' a start..i need some games in the city for the next 4 years..

i went up 20$ playing blakcjack with the losers though, so it was a productive night..
