I get 55, and flop comes 5JJ. Someone before me bets. I just call, figuring I'll raise on the turn where the bets are bigger. A 6 comes on the turn, same guy bets, I raise, and one guy after me calls. A 7 comes on the river. The guy before me calls, I bet, and the guy after me raises. The guy before me folds. I re-raise. The other guy caps it and turns over J7.
Now that I think back on it, it should have been obvious that he paired his J since he just called up to the river, then suddenly raised. Should I have just called his raise?
