I played on Ultimate Bet recently and copied my stats to find my problem. The problem is i've been getting slaughtered recently (3-4 days). Losing and more losing. I think I'm playing the same style but I am losing hands that I usually won in the past. I do know that I have not handled some of these losses with self-contol. My computer screen is very tough. :x
Well here's the stats and I was wondering what everyone thought about the numbers. Thanks for the input
Hands dealt 84 Hands Won 9(10%)
Flops seen 35 (41%) Time at table 1hr 20 min
| Preflop | Flop | Turn | River
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hands Played| 84 | 33 | 25 | 18
Checked | 13% | 58% | 56% | 39%
Check Rais'd | - | - | - | -
Called | 18% | 15% | 16%| 28%
Bet | n/a | 15% | 24% | 39%
Raised | 8% | 3% | - | -
Reraised | 2% | 3% | - | -
Folded | 58% | 18% | 28% | 22%
Won | - | 6% | - | 39%
The game was .50/1 limit hold'em. Mostly a full ten-handed table.
I started doubting my hands at the end but mainly played pretty normally, I think. I'm not happy with some of the numbers i.e. river calls, checks, wins and turn checks.
Thanks.

my opinion is that 40 percent of the time you are calling to see the flop. That is part of your problem.....that seems very high to me.... other players begin to notice that you play most of the time therefore assuming that you probably dont have a strong hand most of the time, therefore being able to push you out of a lot of pots...however if you do hit the nut or a huge hand it can work to your advantage..if you think about it calling $1 40 percent of the time in 100 hands seen is 40 dollars youve played with.....most of the time with mediocre hands more than likely....my opinion is that if you play that loose youre probably playing emotionally (thinking what if this flops....a problem of mine) and not playing logically or playing the odds......if you play mainly with the odds and call pre-flop a few times when you probably shouldnt youre a lot better off......you dont have to be in the action all the time..be patient and wait to make your move....

Very true dublisto. This reminds me of a post I made on another thread about a few of the guys I make a point to invite every week to my game. They play WAY too many hands just to see a flop. They even say "I'm in it to win it" and call any pre-flop raise. After I see that look on their face when they miss the flop, it just takes a decent bet or raise and they're folding.

on that link is a copy of my stats compare them to yours.
To agree with the previous you see way too many hands, your checking too much, whoa, hold the horses, no check raises?? you have to use it to your advantage!! not enough raises or re-raises, try dropping a limit and playing around a bit, if the site your on has a lower limit.
What also helps is an overall % if the site your on has a way to save the stats from session to session, it helps in the long run.
You got a set a balls, right? Use em, dont let a raise intimidate you reraise it, find out if your hand is still good.
If you do drop a limit, try bet/raiseing hands youd call/check with.
Just some input, be a bit more aggresive preflop
Good luck
