So I started entered a $5 Hold’em Tournament on UB. Out of over $600+ people was sitting in #23 when my pocket Ace’s got cracked on the river to a guy holding QJ for two pair.
Then I sat down at a $20 6 person SNG on the River Grove table. I made it to the final two and had 2-1 chip lead on Woodeye when it happened.
From the bedroom I hear, “Honey I need you.” Now normally this would get me all hot and excited but she never does this when I am playing poker. Then comes, “I hear something in the bathroom, like a dripping sound. But I can’t see because I took my contacts out.”
Sure enough there is a dripping sound. I located the drip and put my hand over it expecting to find the drip coming from the shower head. Nope… It was coming from the ceiling and the condo above us. The entire corner of the was soaked and bowing out.
So I ran back to the computer said, “HOLY SHIT MY BATHROOM CEILING IS COMING DOWN I GOTTA GO” and clicked the “Sit Out” button. I went to knock on the neighbors door but they didn’t answer. Finally they did and by the time we got it all straightened out and numbers exchanged… Woodeye was declared the winner…
Pictures were taken and will be uploaded shortly.

This incident makes me change my views of condo association fees. I always figured why?! Well the one time I need them they will be there. Structural stuff is covered so we won't be out of pocket.
