Minimum Requirement, Jack or Ten?

Right now I play hands like AT, KT, QT, and JT from any position, but I wonder if I might be better off folding them, and requiring at least a Jack kicker. Or maybe I should only play them from late position. Any thoughts?

Depends on your stack. If you have a big enough stack that you can pay to see the flop then it might pay off to do so. If your short stacked, I personally would fold those hands unless I was able to check. Late position though you might want to play those out depending again on the bet.

personally, i would raise with AT from early position, TJ i would call from early, as long as no raisers, but be ready to dump post flop.
KT/QT i would only really ever play in late position with no raise before me with plenty chips in front of me. In fact i may even consider a raise with these in late position if the blinds were worth stealing.
Anything lower than AT (inc hands like KT/QT/KJ things like that) i would say are only pretty much good enough hands to lose you money on.
Yes you will see players on WPT/WSOP etc playing these cards, but these people are professionals, playing against professionals, and what you see there should not be tried at home Laughing

AT and JT are the only 2 of those hands I would play from early position. But I would proceed with caution in both instances. JT is better then KT and QT because it can make 5 straights and is the only card combination where every straight it makes is the nuts, so in short it is the best connector.
