Indian Casinos

Posted Thu Jul 01, 2004 1:56 pm GMT by Maddy
Here in the next couple weeks my friends and i are planning a trip to gambling up at some indian casinos. Since I've heard that you can be 18 and gamble at the reservations it seems like a good idea to have some experience before vegas and what not.

The thing that I was wondering is if these Indian casinos were worth it. We all just turned 18 and we just wanted to go test our skills. I've heard some people's horror stories about these casinos but right now it's our only option. Do you think that it would be worth it to give these places a try?

The ones on reservations down here near me only offer video poker. They have dealers for some of the games but all they do is push the buttons for you. I haven't been to any myself though.

If anybody lives in tennessee it would be nice to know if they have any Indian casino's down there. I'm headed down there for college in a couple months so I was just curious if anybody knew of any.

Recently in Oklahoma and found that the state is full of Indian casinos, but none of them spread live poker. Amazing. Texas Hold'em actually started in Tulsa, and you can't play it there.

two Indian casinos in Michigan offer poker: one in Manistee and one in Mount Pleasant.

I don't think there's anything in Tennessee that I've ever heard of. You may have to go to Mississippi or up to the Ohio River in Indiana.

That's the one I was talking about. The latest on that is that they're adding a poker room. We'll see if it happens.
