Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Not consistently .. I really wish I could play every week but I haven't played with friends in a while I guess they are tired of losing... I played in a tournament a little while back ... I realized that I suck ... but I won't make the same mistakes again.. Do you want to help me try and get a weekly game together or something? do you know anyone who is actually good and wants to play? because I don't know anyone really...

Should be some chips available at Costco. Since Dufferin is closed, I guess there's only Internet.

Don't knock the old people.
I'm thirty and learned some of my best poker lessons from people 50 or 60. If they have been playing the game alot they can give you pointers like no one else. (While they take your money, LOL)
Anyway If anybody is interested in getting a game together in Moncton (Fun, Amateur game, No fighting over rules just come to a mutal answer) give me a PM.

Actually I got in contact with a guy who has a tourney every 3 weeks or so. 8 people $100.00 buy in 5/10 stakes. I am at work right now and do not have access to my home PC with his name, so I will post it later if anyone is interested. As for myself I usually host one every month with 4/5 gus from work, far from Pros, but good times. Any questions email me at jeremyss@nb.sympatico.ca

Hi Gentleman!
I posted in this forum under "Ben" some time ago when I was about to move to Moncton... I am now back living in Fredericton, however, and am moving to Ottawa in a month.
Poker in Moncton:
I have heard from a friend of a friend that these tourneys are always very well organized, very professional, and lots of fun The guy that hosts them is very nice from my experience talking to him via email.

Poker in Fredericton:
Very organized group - go to their message board and ask them if u can play sometime. Elks Club on Brunswick Street also has action almost every night of the week - you "have to be a member tho"
http://www.playhomepoker.com
Online Poker:
If you want to check out my FreeRolls website its http://www.FreeRollz.com - its a free servie with no ads, so let me know what you think. It lists all the FreeRoll tournaments available on the internet (and ranks them) and mentions all the different bonuses poker sites are offering (some of them offer $10 free with no deposit needed - which was enough for me to start a bankroll )
Cheers.
Ben

Hello to all Moncton poker players and friends,
The NUBGC is pleased to announce that its Moncton Charity Poker Room fundraiser has now resumed at a new and improved location! We are now located at the Sapphire Game Room on 1212 Mountain Rd. in Moncton NB. For your convenience, our new location is now open until 6am on Fridays and Saturdays and until 4am from Sunday - Thursday!
With casino grade poker tables from Crummer Poker Tables, 13.5 gram customized clay chips and top notch Kem cards, it's the most exciting place in the Moncton area to play poker! Regular games are 1-2 and 2-4 no limit Texas Hold'em with the occasional pot limit Omaha and limit Hold'em games.
Remember this is a charitable fundraiser and this way we all win. Players will receive an official charitable receipt for tax purposes at the end of the year. Please feel free to stop in and enjoy yourself in a professionally run environment.
For more information, please feel free to visit our website at http://www.monctonpoker.com
See you all at the tables,
