Best Low Limit Poker Book?

Posted Mon Jul 12, 2004 11:17 am GMT by pathomps
I know this has been up before, but what are your opinions on the best Low Limit Poker books out there? I typically play as high as 5-10 and wanted to know everyone's thoughts.

Thanks

Winning Low limit Holdem by Lee Jones is probably the best. (my opinion of course)

WLLHE by Jones is pretty decent, just because it's a really really light read, and outlines some important concepts. One of the best beginner books out there, I would say.

Does it come with a "double your money back" guarentee if it doesn't work?

That'll cost you another 50.

Picked up the Lee Jones book yesterday and have already finished half of it, so far it has been a big help and I recommend it to anyone that wants to sharpen their limit game and has less than a couple years experience. Thanks for the advice everyone.

Where did you pick it up? Should I expect to find this at my local Borders/Barnes and Nobles, or whatever?

Couldn't find it at my local barnes and noble, so I'm putting an order on it. Instead spent my time reading Sklansky's theory of poker, and studied the funadmental theorem of poker.

I bought it @ Borders, I think they jacked the price up because of the sudden increase in popularity with Poker. Sold for $27 and change including tax. Hopefully it will pay itself off by the next game.
