Even better!

Oh ho ho. You know it has been a while since i've posted one of these so I think I will enlighten you now.

Allrighty, I am playing heads-up w/ this guy, he is an OK player, I think he has a reasonable chip lead over me at this second. I get:

KJs w/the button.

I raise 10, and he calls. (I wanted him in the pot I guess)

Flop: X, Qs, 10s, (I didn't even realize the STRAIGHT FLUSH possibility)

I am pretty confident he has nothing so I throw in a tiny semi-bluff, 10 again. This is a horrible bet but I had been playing like, 45 minutes straight, I just lost the ability to bet a lot for some reason. He thinks for a second and calls...Then here comes the magic:

Turn: 9s

At first I think, SPADE yes I made virtually the best flush possible. Probably better than his, if he was on that draw. Then I realize, holy crap, this is a STRAIGHT FLUSH. KING HIGH!!!! I almost made a royal baby! Then I compose myself and make another ridiculous bet, about 20 I recall. He thinks and calls again. I was trying to keep him in the pot by that was still a crappy bet I know.

Okey dokey. The river is a rag and I bet about another 20 I think. Thankfully, the Gods are happy and possess him to raise me 75. I think about raising 300 or so then of course I shove all of my chips in. He calls quite fast actually, then of course mucks when I turn over my straight flush. There is no need to tell me how crappy I played, I know. I just wasn't thinking, thankfully it worked out fine though.

A truly beautiful hand... one little thing, though.... You either mis-typed the flop or your pocket cards, as the Js is showing up in both. Did you have the Ts or the Js as a pocket card?

Not that it makes much difference, thats still a magnificent hand. Smile

^ Oh yes, correction. The jack of spades on board should be ten of spades. Thanks for pointing that out.

I had one like that a couple of days back...

Pair of pocket fours, I call 10.

Flop is 2,2,4

I check, so does everyone else but one girl who bets 10, I raise 10, everyone else drops but her, she calls.

4th St. drops a 4. I check, she bets 20, I raise to 40, she calls.

River is a rag, I check, she bets 20, I bet 80, she raises to 100, I call... Throwdown and she had a 2, and about passed out when she saw my 4 4's.

This was a hand I had in a $100 no limit room on Paradise Poker a couple weeks ago. Everyone in the hand had around $100, i had about $130

pocket: Ks Js. I was first to act and made a small raise

flop: Ad Qs Qc I was second to act, after one of the blinds, and checked, then called a small bet.

turn: As, I checked, then 4 people went all in, i folded becuase I knew there was only one out for me, any spade desides the 10, or any 10 besides the 10s didn't help, i would be beaten by boats.

river: 10s, I cried... Crying

2 players split with Aces full

I ended up losing around 8$ on this hand instead of winning about $400 I shut my computer off and didn't play online for about 3 days...
