Hi, I'm 13 from CT here and am holding my 1st multi-table tourny with 14 ppl in a couple weeks. Me and my group of friends have been playing 6 to 8 man one table tourny's for about 5 months now and i thought somone could give me some help crafting this tournament and answer some of my questions. It's a 55$ buyin with an 800$ prizepool (30$ will be added by my parents who of course dont like me playing) I've decided to payout 4 with 1st-425, 2nd-200, 3rd-100, 4th-75. Two tables of 7 will start and then combine to one final table of 6. Everyone will start with 55$ in chips and I've decided to start blinds 50c/1$ and antes at 50c and move it up every hour and a half 1/2 (50c), 1.5/3 (50c), 2/4 (50c), 2.5/5 (1), 3/6(1), 4/8(1), 5/10(2). I wanted to know if anyone had any changes that they thought she be made. This is a pretty big deal for me only being 13 and playing a massive 800$ pool and could use some help so if anyone has any changes that you think should be done and will help the flow of the tournament please respond. Secondly, I was wondering if anyone had any good estimate to how long the tourny will last i estimated somewhere around 10 hrs though i could be way way off though out 6 to 8 man 25$ buyins generally last 3 to 5 hrs though sometimes shorter and longer.
Further details consisting of breaks, I've decided to make breaks 5 mins ever level and a half hour break at 1pm and 7pm (i've decided to start the tourny at 11am) again im posting for some experience opinions and helful changes or maybe because i'm so damn excited lol
