Playing a $30 SNG at Party Poker and am dominating. 4500TC w/ 4 others at 500-1500 each. I have K9 suited on the button and call a 300 bet (short stack) and a blind also calls-blinds 50/100. Flop A 9 9. I only need to dodge AA. Blind checks, small stack goes all in for 400, I go all in for 4500, blind calls for 1500.
Turn rag, river A. Showdown, me 9s full As. Other 2 As full 9s (AQ AJ). The ONLY one card in the deack that could beat me hits.
Things just got worse. Next hand 99, I call a raise. Flop J 7 x. Check to me, I go all in, they call w/ 76. Seven on the turn-lose again.
2 hands later, me w/ 7 10 on the blind. Flop 10 7 3. I check, they go all in, I call. They have JJ and catch a J on the turn.
Talk about going from the pethouse to the outhouse. 3 bad beats in a row!

That stinks. Did you win the SNG?

no-the last hand I noted was the last. Each time there was good size pots-so I went all in w/ what I felt was the winner. In each case I was right, but lost the hand.

I got beat Saturday with AKs vs. A6o. Popped a six on the flop to bust me out.

AK versus A6 can happen a lot. I know it hurts, but you were only 76% to 24%. I was 95-5 on the flop and 97-3 on the turn.
I wouldnt have cared as much if it was early, but this would have given me 6000 chips w/ only 2 players remaining w/ the other 2000. Then to not even finish in the money....double OUCH!
