1 Card to Come Formula:
Odds Against = (Decksize - Outs) / outs

this is the only formula required to calculate draw odds with 1 card to come after the flop!

Let's assume that you flopped a 4flush...what should the Potsize(aka,"pot odds") be to make it correct to call? (note: Potsize must be equal or greater than the Draw Odds{aka,"odds against"} to warrant a call)

You have 9 outs so...
Odds Against = (47-9)/9
= 38/9
= 4.22

Answer: The odds against completing your 4flush on the Turn(1 card to come) is 4.22 to 1 against. So the Potsize(pot odds) must be about 4 small bets or greater for it to be correct to chase to the Turn. (note: the odds on the river is almost exactly the same as on the Turn; but your Potsize after the Turn is reduced by 1/2!!!)

if you know how many outs you have you can get a close estimate of your odds of completing your hand by a simple math equations.

post flop = outs x 4

post turn = outs x 2 +-1 (as you can see, the post turn calc is less accurate but will give a a quick sense of your chances anyway).
