Well I'm home now. One guy noticed the hat, but wasn't from the site. Confused

The place was friggin packed! Seriously never seen it like that on a Wednesday. I don't know if the DNC in Boston had anything to do with it, but we waited about an hour to be seated in the biggest poker room in the country.

I started with $80 at the 2/4 table. Thought about playing a $60 ACT I for the WPT event, but never ended up doing it. I got up to $199 after about 5 hours or so. We took a break for supper and when I came back, my chips were gone! Looked into it (obviously) and we had been pulled from the table for taking too long of a break. They said we'd been gone over an hour. In reality it had been about 50 minutes, which I thought was acceptable since I'd seen people gone for an hour and a half before without problems. So we claimed our chips back, cashed out and left. I was still up about $120 so whatever.

At the casino where I play when you are going to eat you rack your chips and you get an hour to eat.

But, they put a slip in the racks with the time, so if you are gone longer than an hour you will get pulled.

I'd guess maybe a little to do with the DNC. I'd say the exposure to poker on television these days has alot more to do with that. Plus it's summer time up there in the north east(lots of people on vacation) and Foxwoods is the place to be for poker unless you live near Atlantic City.

I understand why they did it, don't get me wrong. But I set my watch and knew we had been gone for less than an hour AND everyone was giving us an attitude about it. Again, I understand that they were busy and it's hard to be nice all of the time when theirs pressure on you. But everytime I tried to ask someone how long you're allowed to break for lunch, I got "I don't know sir." THEN HOW THE HELL DID YOU KNOW WHEN IT WAS TIME TO TAKE MY CHIPS OFF OF THE TABLE AND GIVE MY CHAIR TO SOMEONE ELSE?!?!
