Just wondering, I picked up a royal flush in a hold em poker game. Yes thats special, but this came against a 4 of a kind. Can anyone figure out the odds of a royale and a 4 of a kind coming on the same hold em hand, with only 4 community cards turned over.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

That's a tall order. You want the odds figured in of whether players have the correct hole cards to get these hands too? How about the chances of any two given players at a table with X players?
P.S. I just saw four-of-a-kind beaten by a straight flush at the Bellagio in Las Vegas a couple days ago (Ya, no jackpot there, ouchie!), so I'm assuming it happens all the time
