Anyone play the Taj Majal tournaments in AC? |

Ive seen the Taj Majal in AC has tourneys every night, has anyone here played them, and if so, how are they? Im looking to go to AC for a day and get into one, prob the $50 one, but wanna see if anyone has some feedback first.

I'm going down there monday night, i'll be just sitting at tables but the next day i'll be entering the $10 dollar tourney. i'll post on how it goes.

I know alot of players that like the Taj. I personally haven't ever played there but heard its pretty good.
I play at the Tropicana and the Borgata. I think the level of play is about the same whereever you go there but the Borgata (I think) has the nicest room and waitresses.

monday nites at the taj is where i like to play
$50 - $15 no re-buys 5000 in chips
last time i played in june, the players doubled (310) from when i played last (160). that was before the summer
this last monday i decided to try the trop which was only 20/10 with rebuys . i was bemoaning the fact that i rebought and added on for a total of $100. (i could have only played for $65 at the taj)
until i made the final table. finished 9th and took home $225.
best i have done in a big tourny

each day the stakes are different at the trop. but the other thing u have to look at is if you were in the one at the taj you would be out 65, since u werent able to re-buy. Since you re-bought u were able to place, so i dont know why your complaining, u busted out 4 times yet were still able to play. Dont know about you but your chances are better that way.

didn't mean to sound like i was complaining. i was actually laughing at myself for thinking that early on.
things worked out well though.
had ther been no re-buys, i would have played much tighter. although i didn't play crazy loose. twice went all-in with top pair after flop to lose to 2 pair and better kicker
