Can anybody please tell me if stud high low split is the exact same game as stud high low. Also is there other names for stud high low split? Thanks, I'm a bit confused.

Yes they are teh same.
Other names... not off the top of my head, can't think of any.
Only differences is that some games are played with a qualifier (8s or better) and some without for low, and some are played with declare. I've always heard it as "stud high/low" though. For all of the above.
