although i was only playing a $20+$2 tournament on Pacific Poker, this is the WORST beat i have ever experienced and it will most likely be the worst beat youve heard...
i was big blind mid-way through the tourney with 8d9d and the table folded around to the small blind, he doubled the blind and i put him on a raise to steal my blind...
flop came 10d Jd x, straight draw and flush draw not to mention the straight flush draw...
SB checked to me and i bet to conceal my draws... he called
turn was useless and once again he checked and i bet...
river came up Qd, i hit my straight flush... to my surprise... SB went all in
without any thought i called and went crazy... only to see the chips move to SB, he had AdKd, royal flush...

That's not a bad beat. That's getting beat bad. A bad beat would have been if you flopped a full house went all in and he called and got a runner runner straight flush.
