Gary Carson's Book Question |

On page 36 of Gary Carson's Book "The Complete Book of Hold "Em Poker", there is a table of the Rank of Poker Hands. For a Full House it says the Rank is determined by the highest triplet, then, if two players have the same triplet, by the rank of the pair.
My question is can two players have the same triplet? That doesn't seem right?

In NLHE it is possible, but not in regular poker which you must be thinking of.
You use the best 5 card combo of any of your 7 cards in NLHE.
So if the board is 77753
you have 52 in your hand
your opponent holds 39
You win with 77755
and your oppenent loses with 77733
...always remember the best 5!!! card hand wins.

It's also possible if the board pairs.
