I have pocket 9s on BB, and there is 1 caller. Small blind limps in also. I go all in for 1500 chips (start with 1000). First one folds , and small blind thinks for a minute and calls. He flips over K 7 diamonds. Flop and Turn come rags...He is down to one king to win...RIVER = KING. Man was i pissed.
But thats not all, two other players folded a king preflop, so there was only one in the deck to catch. What would possess someone to call all there chips with K7 suited?

How is that not a bad beat? Is it a river? I think i get what your saying but not sure.

well, everyone's definition of a bad beat varies, but generally it has to be runner, runner, not just getting river'd. back to back cards is what i'm saying. i'm not saying you shouldn't be pissed about getting river'd, but you only had a pair of 9's.....not a very powerful hand. losing with trips is the absolute bare minimum in my book to be calling anything a bad beat. if it's not runner, runner and only a river card beating you, then it should be a full house that gets beat to qualify. just my .02 cents, but i'm sure a great majority will agree.
