What do you guys reccomend for starting hands on H/O. I've been told that you can much more loose and that any face card + x work. I also heard hands like 9,10s aren't as profitible in H/O. Another question I've been thinking is how do you calculate pot odds in Heads Up matches?

Well, I can't give any real genius advice but you are correct...Headsup hands get much much better.

I usually go with all A, K, Q x's but I am more reluctant with J or lower when the other card is 4 or lower. It's almost like playing with one card when you have a 4 or lower in your hand.

Well, in general your pot odds arent going to be great on a draw because the bets are relatively large. If your opponent goes all in, you need at least a 50 % chance to justify pot odds. So does that mean never calling all in on a flush or outside straight draw? The odds of those hitting are far less than 50 %.

pretty much play anything decent any pairs or anything with an ace or king you have to make a sizeable raise with since you probably have the best hand if he plays back then sit back and think about it try to get a read on him.

Well, the pot could be really large already, and if he's shortstacked then you wouldn't really need a 50% chance to hit whatever you're drawing to if/when your opponent pushes all-in.

Well, with only two people the odds of a given hand being in play go way down . . . something like a flush with a duece in it, for example, becomes a way better play . . .
