I have found my interest in Texas-Holdem Poker declining to bi-weekly home games. I also find I don't have the time nor the interest to be fully involved in this forum. Therefore, I feel that I cannot use the Poker in Movies and TV mod powers to their fullest capabilities. I will relenquish my position to a better candidate.

1st let me say you have done a great job as part of this site and i hope that you are around it for a long time to come, even if you can't devote the time needed to maintain a modship.
I admire your honesty, i have been around on different internet sites over the years and rarely do you see someone actually give up a position like this, usually the board just falls into disrepair until admins take action and kick their butts. so respect for that 
Thanks for all the good times and even if you aint playing as muchhold em now as you have done, at least you have a grounding for later in life.
Good luck and have fun with whatever you do, it's been a pleasure knowing you. (altho this isn't a goodbye i hope  )

The job is Webby's provided Adam and Carson ok it by the way guys. Thanx for your help, it's a shame u have lost some interest but that's life, people move on and change their interests. If they didn't, they'd be boring so all the best.

Hey guys, he's just a kid (Not meant with any offense). He needs to enjoy where he is in life right now. As he gets older, he'll decide if poker is something he wants to focus on this much or not. That's why the gambling age is 21 in most places, gives you time to let your head mature a little for the game. :D I think he'll be back in full force again before you know it.

Alright, I'm back from the unconnected world.
I see that webmaster is a temporary mod here. Anyone else wanna mod this category? Requirements are that you are a poker junkie and tv junkie. You also should probably visit this site very often. Who's up for it, or does webmaster claim another category in his conquest of this site?

I had to go check that i wasn't neglecting some other board, Adam this is my 1 and only board (so far 8) ) i'm just appalled that my site domination plan was uncovered so early!
I like modding this board, it is probably 1 of the busiest boards on site, but carries the lowest level of spam (0 spams so far i think ) so my job here is to ermmmm....... let me get back to you on that 1
1 thing we are doing here tho is actively discouraging posts about the filesharing of copyrighted materials, sorry guys, but the laws the law and we don't wanna bring trouble down on the site cos someone aint getting their royalties.
Apart from that, i love poker, i'm online wayyyyyyyyy too much, i am here wayyyyyyyy too much, i watch wayyyyyyyy to much poker, WPT, WSOP, PSI, LNP, even, god help me, watched about 10 minutes of the 2nd ep of Celeb Poker Showdown, after already watching the 1st ep!!!

Adam, glad you're back, if there's anything i can do that i aint doing feel free to let me know.
1 suggestion i would like to make is that this board is changed to Poker in the Media, so that it could incorporate poker books as well as tv & movies? or maybe that could be a whole section to itself? just a thought.
*off to rewatch round 3 of wsop finals and try and spot the back of adams head

You're right webmaster, you only have one category so far. I seem to have lost touch with my site in my absence.

I've been wanting to create a Poker Lit category for a while now, but the idea of looking through every post in the forum has kept me from doing it. Maybe later today? Maybe not...ug. We'll need a new moderator for that too when it happens. Then the great stuggle for power will begin again!

Then people could discuss, books, magazines, newspaper articles on the 1 easy to read board!

That's fine, Adam. Your post sounded (to me, anyway) like Webmaster may not have wanted to do it permanently for some reason or other. Just figured I'd chip in and help if it was needed.

i think most of us who have been here a while would gladly help out in any way we could.
For now tho, you can continue to help me out by making good posts and taking the fall for me and Nick when we put our feet in our mouths.
As for this post, now that i am officially modding here and Ninja has been gone a lil while, i'm gonna unsticky this and maybe make a board rules post or something
