I played in a 5-10 limit game at the Taj Mahal this weekend and watched my friend get beat badly. My friend has Kd 10d small blind position, gets raised by 4th position to 10. Gets one caller. Flop is 2 7 9 (2 diamonds). Guy bets, my friends calls. Turn 9 of diamonds. Guy bets, my friend raises, guy reraises, my friend calls. River Ace of Diamond. Now he has the nut flush. Guy bets, friend raises, guy reraises, my friend calls. Guy shows pocket 9's (Quads). Thank god it wasnt at the no limit table, my friend would have lost all of his chips. How about that for a bad beat!

Any time the board pairs, you have to slow down with a flush because of the possibility of a full house (or quads in this case). The opponents reraise on the turn and the fact that he led out on the river should have been an indicator something wasn't quite right. He obviously wasn't afraid of the flush.
