Ok I'll start off by saying this is my first post here and hope to be here more. (Unless I keep getting bad beats like this!!!)
It was a cheap $10 NL Tournament starting 1000 chips. The blinds were at 10-20 with almost the whole table playing tight.
I had 960 left and was dealt AA 2 off the BB. I decided I didnt want any small hands in with me so I raised 200. Three people called ok im thinking some pretty ok hands maybe some PP.
The flop comes 5 4 5, ok I'll take the pot here, All-in. Only thing I was worried for was maybe someone called me with pocket 4's or 5's, highly unlikely!
One person calls and wouldn't you know it he had 4 5 of diamonds. I had never been put into a world of pissed off that bad before.
The only thing I'm happy about is that it was only in a cheap tourney and not a ring game.
Also do you think I played this right?

if you're gonna go all-in with AA, you might as well do it pre-flop so guys don't have a chance to catch. sure the other guys hand wasn't great, but it's not unusual for someone to play suited connectors in such circumstances. i know you're pissed, and i don't blame you, but a stronger bet pre-flop could have prevent this IMO.

I see your point on that a stronger bet would have been better pre-flop, but at this point on this table this was a very strong bet. Hell everyone was playing so tight I thought they would fold.
Maybe I am a little upset still, I'll get over it. Thanks for your response, Its just these types of hands just get to you, you know!!

I had 2 hands last night that make me want to quit.
One in a pot limit tourny.
I have JJ, so I raise the pot which was $250.
Get 2 callers.
Flop comes 48J. So I with all in, about another $700. I get one caller.
He shows A8os, and turn and river come A8.
Second in a no-limit game. $.50/$1
I get AA and go all in $35's.
A guy calls, he also had about $35 with K4d, the flop comes dhd, turn and river dd.

Uh, question. Why didn't you take the pot with jacks full of 8's. The other guy only had 8's full of aces. Maybe I interpreted this wrong, but if the final board was 48J8A, you would win.
