I have some rather odd questions that i want answers to about the WSOP Main Event that i just cant find. For example, what chips do ppl start with at the begining of the tournament i know 10,000 of course but like 8 25$ 4 500$ chips or whatever. Also, does anyone know what blinds started at the final table this year. I estimated blinds and antes started at something like 50,000-100,000 with like 10,000 antes or something like that, but would like to know for pure curiousity. And still I'm looking for a complete list of the 2576 entrants and their place finishes...alls i've found is money finish lists on pokerpages.com. If anyone knows any of the answers or can provide me a site or something id appreciate.

I doubt you'll find a list of where all the competitors finished. When a player got busted out, they just got up and left. Nobody really kept track of exactly when a player got busted out until late in the tournament.

When players sat down the chip stacks didn't look very large. I guess with blinds at $25/$50 that $10K could potentially last awhile. I play in a local tourney every now and then that starts with the same blinds (25/50) but only $1800 in chips. Now that can go quickly.
