I had A,5 spades in a 10 dollar sng with 5 ppl left I raise i get called by 9,10 of diamonds.
Flop
6,4,9 spades
turn
10 club
river 10 spade
I didnt give him free cards either. I calculated this and he had about a 3 percent chance of beating me off the flop and about 9 percent after the turn. We were about even in chips so i got eliminated.
I jumped onto another sng, and get eliminated with A,J against A,10
off a flop of 6,A,10 rainbow
turn is a jack of spades giving me 2 pair. I bet hard he calls.
river is a u guessed it...K
Maybe this is some sort of strange karma cause yesterday i dealt a bad beat on someguy that flopped a king hi flush while i flopped a set of jacks and I caught a jack on the river to beat him. But dam it didnt have to pay me back 10 fold.
I'm tilting like a mother F'er right now so i just logged off.

if those are your worst beats ever, consider yourself lucky. i've been dealt far worse beats than that.

Ok then I'd like to hear about it. Because I dont think you can get much worse than being a 97 percent favourite off the flop and losing.

example 1: flush loses to a full house. bad beat?? absolutely, but a flush ain't exactly uncommon. also, how many outs are you basing your 3% and 9% calculations on??

I'd like to tell you but I don't actually know the outs. I just ran the scenario through a odds calculator.
Ive had flushes beat by full houses before but usually the other person atleast had a set to begin with.

This one here:
Flopped the best possible full house in the game, and got beat by runner-runner 4-of-a-kind.
and this one here:
The guy gets quad Ks, and got beat by a flopped royal flush.
are the worst I've seen. If you get worst than those two, let me know.

Ouch!! That must hurt, getting the best hand in the game beaten by some chaser... I feel for you.

Yea that one with the quad jacks is really bad.
I dont think the royal flush one is really a bad beat though the other guy just had a better hand.

Yeah, he didn't have the better hand on the river and the other pulling the miracle card. Although, it would certainly piss me off!!
