
Flush question...texas holdem |

This one always seems to come up...
Player 1 best flush hand is A, Q, 7, 4, 3
Player 2 has flush of A, J, 8, 6, 2
We have played where this is a TIE & split the pot where the absolute highest card would win. Should we play where if both players have the same high card in the flush, we go to their next highest card?

yes, that would be the correct way. player 1 wins as A Q is higher than A J.

yup, start at the high card and work your way down till someone has a better card. A,Q,10,4,3 BEATS A,Q,10,4,2
