Yes, read Tao of Poker and Zen and the Art of Poker.

Also, for stories and such from the underbelly of poker read Poker Nation by Andy Bellis. That book was cool.

Not directly about Poker, but "Bringing Down the House" is about the MIT kids who took Vegas for millons playing BlackJack.

Here we go:

Poker: Bets, Bluffs, and Bad Beats... kind of a history on poker

Poker Nation by Andy Bellin... cool book, i like how he writes, kind of a personal experience

Biggest Game in Town by Alvarez... a book writtten in the 80s covering the World Series of Poker

Big Deal by Anthony Holden... another personal expereince perspective by the author, who tries his hand at high stakes poker and the wsop

Amarillo Slim in a World Full of Fat People by Slim... fun read about the consummate gambler

Gambling Wizards... this book covers a handful of gambler, including Chip Reese and Doyle Brunson... the other gamblers are blackjack card counters, sports bettors, and horse bettors... all of them professional

Positively Fifth Street... covers the Binions Murders as well as the author's fifth or sixth place finish at the wsop

Wow... I read that many books on the topic... I should get a star or something for that....

If you like reading, try finding some of the poker blogs, someone else listed this as a topic here... I do one myself at my own site... guess I should add some more pictures or something.... so many people now do blogs... they range from hand specific to just general stuff... almost non-poker related... (i like the latter myself... I get tired of reading about bad beat stories... you hear one you hear them all...

Maybe I should be writing my own Vegas book?
