chipstore.com -- Anyone have chips from them? |

About two weeks ago or so, I sent thechipstore.com a payment to start my order. Has anyone gotten chips from them in the past? I have read a lot of people that have had trouble getting a hold of them and haven't gotten chip samples. I've mentioned in other topics -- I talked to Dan and he claims they have been totally backed up because of a Chipco price increase. He sounded honest and I placed my order because I'm in no hurry and they seem to have the best prices. I'm just wondering if anyone has gotten chips from them and if they were happy or not.

Well, if Dan would ever respond to an email or phone call, then maybe I would stop bad-mouthing him. Ok, I lied, he wouldn't get off the hook that easy. Dan, get me my chips or give me my damn money back. I only ordered a sample. Send me 2-3 measly chips for god sake!!! Or give me my money back like I have asked for the past month.
I know I am not the only one that is having this problem. My advice, if you are looking to give your money away, go to chipstore.com. If you would actually like to get something in return (other than pissed off and feeling cheated), then look elsewhere.

Same thing here. I had trouble getting him on the phone, then I ordered samples that never came. He missed out on a $7,000+ chip order from me. He did, however, refund my sample fees.
I highly recommend using http://homepokerchips.com instead.

Yeah...same here. I ordered some samples from thechipstore.com MONTHS ago and never receieved either the chips or a refund. After a few phone calls and a few email messages (in which I was pretty much told "I'm shipping them today") I've all but given up on receving any samples, let alone my money back.

I know this is an old thread, but I had ordered samples from thechipstore.com back in May and got them promptly. That was before the price raise and all, but I did receive a sample from them.

The consenses is NO on thechipstore. If you want Chipcos pay the extra money and go through homepokerchips.com. Do some more searches there are more recent threads than this one -- none really have anything good to say about chipstore.
I was the one that started this thread. Ended up canceling my order because I just didn't like any of the designs chipstore (Dan) was coming up with. Mostly clipart, just didn't seem very professional.
There have been people that got chips from him and were happy. Many more that were not happy and had problems.
