tonights 2 episodes were pretty good i thought, but could be capped off by a couple good moments

1) Mike Matusow crying and screaming after he lost. It was a bad beat, but you have to feel good when a bigmouth starts to cry :D
2) The crowd cheering for Doyle whenever anything at all that involved him. its good to see that they all have respect

But does anyone here like Mattias Anderson??? every hand he probably shouldnt have won he made a very annoying European sounding YAAAAA sound, he was too loud and it got on my nerves

Andersson's celebrations are a bit over the top but he doesn't really bother me. But I'm easy, not many players bother me much. I did think that Andersson made a couple of decent laydowns (one vs. Harrington's trips).

Matusow is one of the few that I don't like, too much trash talking. He didn't meltdown like he usually does. But I actually felt bad for him...for a second or two.

Jesus has sucked out a couple times now. Doyle did it vs. Lederer. Harrington too. Even the best players need a little luck here and there.

1)There were lots of suck outs last night. The worst one was when two players(forget thier names) both had AQ unsuited. One guy made a Queen high flush to double up. I know I'd be pissed if I had to pay him off.

2) I laughed my ass off when the tournament host carded that 21 year old kid. Was also nice to see him bluff Raymer out of over 200k in chips.

3) It was a shame Mike the Mouth went out like that. I sort of like the guy and think it would be fun siting at a table with him. He just never recovered after Raymer took most of his stack.

4) I wouldn't really call Ferguson's last hand of the night a suck out. At that point in the tourney, it's all about collecting more chips. He flopped an open ended straight draw, I would have called the bet as well. If he folded, he'd be in rough shape for the next day anyway, mine as well take a risk and try to double up. And it was nice to see Mattias lose a hand for once. But again, you can't blame him for being excited, I'm sure it was one heck of an experience playing with those guys.

5) It also amazes me the amount of respect Harrington's bets get. I guess years of playing super tight can pay off when you need chips. His green Red Sox hat has to go though.

6) I can't believe that guy called Brunson's all in with an A7o! I guess he was getting tired of being pushed around.

Over all was another enjoyable show.

I was getting pissed of by that little punk that worshiped Matusow's every move. The kid in blue, I forgot his name.

There's apparently more to the story regarding Doyle's exit than was shown on TV.

i just want to say that mattias andersson is NOT representing sweden in any way. the proud land of sweden wish to apologize for spawning such a fool. most swedish players i've met/seen are very cool and humble and solid players.

yeah well the thing is ....... and this may be a shock, it sounded European because he IS European.

now, the guy annoys me also, i think all these excessively emotional responses are wayyyyyyy over the top, Andersson's is 1 of the worst and it is annoying. If you can't take the highs and lows with good grace then you shouldn't play poker, simple as that.

but to say he is annoying because he's European? well you might as well say he's annoying cos he's black or fat or short or has a whiney nasal american voice!

now can we stop using "European" as a derogatory term?

Thanks for this, it makes more sense this way, i know people will make a move with this hand but i was like...... "wtf is he calling with that for?" i too thought it was frustration.
They said something about Brunson plays regularly with bermans dad, so i thought maybe that had something to do with it in some way.
but this makes more sense.

Leo, Anderssen is no more representitive of swedish players than say.... fischmann or Matusow is of USA players Razz

Yeah, after reading that and watching that episode again, Berman actually shakes his head and you can tell he feels bad Doyle went out like that. Oh well, pay more attention at the table and crap like that won't happen.
