did anyone else find this episode SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO boring that they changed the channel?
the only exciting thing about the game was the fact that evellyn was acting as a dealer (sort of... doing everything a dealer does except deal the cards since at the hollywood home game they let the players deal). i was very tempted to watch sor the simple fact that the camera would cut to a shot that included her from time to time.
in the end, however, i was forced to change the chan to something that wasn't making me fall asleep.
LOL

How the hell did Ed Asner win? It's bad enought that he's a douche bag, but does he also have to get lucky and win? I'd rather see Afleck win than him!

I watched about 20 minutes while channel surfing. I did see one GREAT move, Jon Favreau (sp) flopped quad 6s and used his "Ask the Pro" card to see what to do.
Obviously, you wouldnt normally use this if you had an unbeatable cards, so it was a great move for that format.

i didn't see that part... like i said... only watched a couple minutes... got a few good shots of evellyn... and then changed the chan. LOL
that IS a VERY good move on the quad 6 using the card. were the pros like (dude... this was an awesome move on your part!)?

Danny just looked very serious and nodded. He said, "I actually figured that's what you were doing."

Negreanu was playing along with it. It was pretty cool. The only problem was I don't think Favreau really made any money with it. I think he got one more small call out of Asner on the turn, and that was it. Affleck would've made his straight on the river, but he had folded his inside draw.

I totally agree, I Tivo'ed it and watched about 20 minutes today. I couldn't stand it. It was incredibly boring and very bad poker too. I deleted it without even checking to see who won. I couldn't care less.
I'm pretty much done with watching all televised poker with the exception of the rare "live" event like Fox did recently.

You got that right. It's actually nice to see a game where every hand isn't a huge one. And as far as the celebrity one, yeah right.
